How long my online video should be?

The duration of your online video is important, both for the users and the serach engines.
1. the users
Video is a specific medium. Unlike a web page or a written document, users cannot view the entire content at a glance. They cannot search in your video content using keywords. As a consequence, we advise you to use one video per message (e.g: one video which presents your company, one video which presents your product, one video which present your current opportunities …).
Therefore, the users will quickly have access to the content they are interested and will be more likely to view it untill the end.
2. the search engines
In terms of Search Engine Optimisation, we also advise you split your video into short videos, on the “one message per video” basis. Instead of using a whole bunch of tags to describe your long video, make sure you use specific and targeted tags for each of your short videos.
In brief, stick to less than 3 min videos.
